Fortune Leaves, Crystal Edition: Mikimoto’s first fragrance created with Lalique Beauty

Fortune Leaves, Crystal Edition marks Japanese high jeweler Mikimoto’s debut in the world of fragrance. Created by Lalique Group under a licensing agreement, this exceptional scent is limited to just ten pieces.

In 2023, Mikimoto, an iconic name in Japanese luxury jewelry, signed a fragrance licensing agreement with Lalique Beauty. The first creation to emerge from this collaboration is Fortune Leaves, Crystal Edition, featuring a flacon inspired by a chandelier commissioned by Mikimoto from crystal maker Lalique for the bridal salon of its Ginza flagship store.

Designed by Lalique Artistic and Creative Director Marc Larminaux, the flacon takes the shape of a pearl bordered by a field of clovers. Crafted in crystal at Lalique’s workshops in Wingen-sur-Moder, each base is mouth-blown into a custom mold. The clover-covered cap is produced using the lost-wax technique.

The sense of refinement extends to the secondary packaging: the flacon is presented in a coffret made of whitened maple wood and lined with pearlescent suede, echoing Mikimoto’s pearl heritage.
